Dear Readers and Distinguished Colleagues,
With this issue, we are proud to be left behind fifteen successful years of publication life of The Bulletin of Legal Medicine. The Bulletin of Legal Medicine, as official scientific publication of the Association of Forensic Medicine Specialists, has been continuously published since 1996 with negligible delays from time to time. The journal owes its success to your valuable scientific contributions, besides precious efforts of all editors and associate editors, and publication committee from the moment of first publication to the present day. At this point, I would like to emphasize the importance of contributions of advisory board members in terms of enhancing the quality of publications with their great care during reviewing articles. In this regard, I would like to thank all those who provide contribution.
The Bulletin of Legal Medicine adds novel forensic studies to national publishing with the support of advisory board members; however, it experiences delays in publication process due to problems in scientific journal publishing. During this period, in order to reduce interruptions and accelerating the article review process "Online manuscript tracking system" was provided to users. Improving the online manuscript tracking system by our new editorial board will contribute to further speed up in the publication process.
I wish success to next editor and editorial board members; with the belief of your strong support to The Bulletin of Legal Medicine, the official scientific publication of our association, as an important means of contributing to the development of the area and sharing innovations in the field of forensic sciences.
Sincerely yours,
Editor
Nadir ARICAN
