Dear Forensic Scientists,
We are here with the last issue of the Bulletin of Legal Medicine for 2019. Publishing 12 articles in each issue continues in our last issue as well. In this issue various perspective-opening studies are gathered together which include Child Marriages within the Scope of Civil Code, Crime-Driven Children, Mobbing, Post-mortem Heart School, American Physicians Association’s (AMA) Guidelines for the Assessment of Permanent Disability, Nuclear Cyber Safety and Nuclear Security.
Besides, we belive you will enjoy reading the redrafted article of our dear invited author, Ms. Mehtap Hamzaoğlu who is also the author of the newly published book of ‘Honour- the Ideology behind Violence Against Women’, which focusesses on honour killings. She redrafted an article for our journal under the name of ‘Symbolic and Direct Forms of Violence Against Women in Turkey: Honor Case and Honor Killings’.
We are also delighted to share with you the ‘Linguistics Autopsy: Criteria and Methods of Author’ which is the recent research of our invited author Ms. Burcu İlkay Kahraman. We wish that original works of our invited authors from different fields of forensic sciences will bring new perspectives to forensic sciences.
It will be the 25th anniversary of our journal next year. We will continue to share recent studies and innovations in this field from the beginning of 2020. We wish that the year 2020 will bring health, success and happiness to our country and the whole world. As the Editorial Board of the Bulletin of Legal Medicine, we would like to express our gratitude to our authors and reviewers who contributed to the journal with their articles. We are working to guide our journal to even higher levels while maintaining the distinction of being the scientific platform of the field of Forensic Sciences. We would like to kindly ask you to carefully review the rules of our journal when submitting your work to out journal.
We wish to raise the eligibility of our journal higher by being aware of the fact that being scientific is the only way to build up a future for forensic sciences, and we wish to continue to be a common platform sharing the latest studies in Forensic Medicine and Forensic Science areas...
