    Dear Forensic Scientists,

We are here with the new issue of the Bulletin of Legal Medicine. By being the only forensic science journal in Turkey indexed within the scope of both Tübitak Ulakbim TR Index and DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) and leading the scientific platform of forensic sciences in our country necessitates new targets ahead us.

We are happy to share with you the studies from different disciplines within the scope of forensic sciences. We are proud to share fascinating and current research in this new issue of our journal, including 'Diatom examinations of corpses removed from water', 'The evaluation of professional drivers' behaviors and skills in relation with alcohol, drugs of abuse and medicine consumption', 'E-Bullying and E-Victimization Scale', 'Suicide risk among individuals in Turkish probation system', 'Biogeographic ancestry estimation' as well as 'drug facilitated sexual assaults and perpetrator typology'. We would like to maintain our journal's scientific platform and extend it to a wider area.

Meanwhile, we are proud and happy to share with you the textbook of "Forensic Medicine & Forensic Sciences" (Adli Tıp & Adli Bilimler) which includes 39 chapters with annexes that is published in a period of 2 years with the contributions of 52 scientists in the field of forensic medicine and forensic sciences from our country.

We wish to raise the eligibility of our journal higher by being aware of the fact that being scientific is the only way to build up a future for forensic sciences, and we wish to continue to be a common platform sharing the latest studies in Forensic Medicine and Forensic Science areas...
