Dear forensic scientists,
The Bulletin of Legal Medicine has been continuously published since 1996 with negligible delays from time to time. Editorial board would like to acknowledge previous editors Prof. Serpil Salaçin, Prof. Şebnem Korur and Prof. Nadir Arıcan, publication committee, reviewers and all scientists in the field of forensic sciences for their precious contributions to the journal.
The Bulletin of Legal Medicine, without departing from its scientific legacy and tradition, with its new team embark on a journey to the future with an open philosophy of science in the challenging field of forensic sciences. As required by current scientific era, we started to publish the journal electronically through its webpage as "Open Journal System" and in print as well, in order to provide scientific knowledge to everyone. Our short-term goal is to publish journal on a timely basis, which is monitored by national and international scientific databases. Furthermore, the journal is aimed to be indexed by SCI- Expanded and SCI indexes as our long-term goal.
Rapidly proceeding on the path of innovation and change, The Bulletin of Legal Medicine needs the contribution and support of distinguished scientists in the field of forensic sciences, more than any time.
Sincerely,
Halis Dokgöz, Prof. Dr.
